2 Medical Doctors Arrested For Illegally Aborting Pastor’s Maid’s Pregnancies

The last may have not being heard over the illegal abortion of the pregnancy of an housemaid by her boss believed to be a pastor with the Christ Embassy Church in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the police have arrested two medical doctors for the alleged involvement in the four illegal abortions allegedly committed by the man known as Pastor Sunday Olisa, who minister at Egbe, Ikotun branch of the Christ Embassy in Lagos.
The suspects, whose identity were yet to be disclosed by the Police at Area M Idimu Command, were arrested on Thursday and detained at the Command cell.
It was gathered that one of the suspects was a popular columnist with a national daily newspapers.
The maid had revealed that whenever Pastor Olisa impregnated her, he will take her to the suspects’ hospitals where they will pretended as if they were treating malaria and then injected her and she will start bleeding.
She narrated that when she complained, the doctors will explain to her that the type of injection given to her was such that will result in bleeding and she should not worry.
This happened on four occasions she got pregnant by her boss.
Olisa was recently arrested in connection with the alleged sexual molestation of his house maid which resulted in four pregnancies and abortions.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the arrest followed a pain-staking investigations of Olisa by the police team led by the Area Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Austines Akika on Wednesday.
The following day, the police arrested the doctors who allegedly carried out the abortions, while one of them was said to be at large.
Olisa was said to have sneaked into the hospital where the victim was receiving treatment and wanted to pay the bill and take the victim away before he was arrested based on a tip off.
P.M.EXPRESS reported that the 16-year old orphan (name withheld) was lying critically ill with heavy bleeding from her private after she was allegedly induced leading to an uncompleted abortion of the foetus by her master.
The incident happened at 6 Dolamo street in Agodo Egbe in Ikotun area where the pastor, Sunday Olisa resides with his family and the victim.
The victim narrated how her ordeal began to our correspondent who visited her on the hospital where she is still on admission.
She told P.M.EXPRESS how she started living with Olisa through her uncle, George Aguba.
She said her mother was from Mali but married her father who was from Kwale in Delta State and they both had three children including herself.
She said her parents died six years ago when she was just 10 and their uncle was planning to take them back to Kwale before Olisa offered to assist and took her to his house.
“When I was 10, the man (Olisa) will call me into his bedroom where nobody was around. He will drugged and raped me severally and after the drug cleared from my system and I wake up, I will discover that my private was wet,” she recalled.
She said that had continued all through the year and when she reported to the leaders of the church, they shut her up and told her to endure and do not complain because Olisa was sponsoring her education.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the church headquarters is yet to make any official response to the alleged scandal.
