The Ajasin Foundation in conjunction with the Departments of Arts & Social Science Education, University of Ibadan and Arts Education, Adekunle Ajasin  University, Akungba Akoko, will be holding a two-day conference in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the transition of Chief M.A. Ajasin.

The conference is slated to hold at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan between the 3rd- 4th of October, 2017.

Expected to deliver a lecture at the conference is Prof. Banji Akintoye (Former Second Republic Senator), while Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede (VC, O.A.U., Ile-Ife) is expected to chair the occasion.

The theme of the conference is: Chief M.A. Ajasin – A Teacher and A Statesman. While sub-themes are: (i) Chief M.A. Ajasin Political Ideals (ii) His Educational Philosophy (iii) His Legacy of Service.

In a chat with P.M.EXPRESS, one of the organisers of the conference and daughter of the statesman, Mrs. Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe said that the conference is part of the activities put together by the foundation to celebrate the statesman and highlight his political ideals, educational philosophy and life of service to the people, which we are lacking presently in the polity.
