Billionaire Adebutu Redeems N50m Pledge To Super Eagles

Billionaire businessman and philanthropist, Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu has redeemed his pledge to hand the Super Eagles the sum of N50 million for being the first African team to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

Sir Adebutu, who also sponsors a teenage women’s tournament, delivered the cheque for the amount to Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Sunday during the men’s final of this year’s AITEO Cup competition.

The cheque was delivered on Sir Adebutu’s behalf by broadcast media luminary, Prince Bisi Olatilo, who is also chief executive of Biscon Communications.
