Fresh Drags Pinnick, Dikko, Others To Jos

Chairman of Referees Appointment Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, would be dragging major football stakeholders to Jos, the Plateau State capital on Tuesday,  to grace the final of ‘Comrade Ahmed Fresh Football competition in the state capital .

Prominent among dignitaries expected to grace the finals is the Executive Governor of Plateau State Solomon Lalung, NFF President  Amaju Melvin Pinnick, Chairman League Management Company, Mallam Shehu Dikko, NFF’s Chairman of Chairmen, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, Independent Chairman of Nationwide League One, Mohammed Alkali, NFF congressmen, amongst others.

Fresh, who is the Vice Chairman Technical and Development Committee of the NFF, according to a statement from his SA Media, Aro Olaoluwa, says “The mandate given to me by my people (North Central) is to develop football from the grassroots, so I have to deliver virtually everything I promised them during my manifesto before I was nominated to represents them on the board of the current board of Nigeria Football Federation.”

Sardauna Kwallow Najeriya as the Chairman Niger State Football Association is fondly called by his admirers, reveals why the who is who in Nigeria football are gracing the occasion.

“North Central is one of the leading region in terms of football development in Nigeria, and having taken grassroots football development to different states under my zone, it’s important to bring football stakeholders to the venue of the final, so that they can all see how we are taking the youths away from social vices in North Central,” the astute football administrator disclosed.

No fewer than thirty-two (32) grassroots teams participated in the tournament as Sauki Oil & Gas FC clashes with Way Forward FC in the final, while Flying Arrows FC and De Blessed FC fight for bronze in the third place.
