The hit TV drama series, Professor Johnbull, will enter its Fourth Season with the first episode airing on Tuesday night on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes.

The first episode of the new season, titled “Point and Kill” satirises how unsuspecting members of the public fall victim to fraudsters on Nigerian highways.

These fraudsters usually  stand on the highway to raise false alarms, deceiving their victims that there is a fault with their vehicles or a problem on the road.

The unsuspecting driver would stop only to be robbed or defrauded.

Point and Kill parades the likes of Nollywood star, Kanayo O. Kanayo, (KOK) who acts as Professor Johnbull, the lead character in the play; Johnbull’s son, Churchill (Jnr. Pope Odonwodo); the restaurant owner, Olaniyi (Yomi Fash-Lanso) and the adventurer of the Series, Samson (Ogus Baba).

The new series will also feature the delectable Bimbo Akintola (Ufoma), who has a crush on Professor Johnbull, and Martins Nebo who acts as Abadnego, the Professor’s gate man.

According to Globacom, the sponsors of the programme, the first episode in the new season will be very entertaining as the play opens on the cerebral Professor Johnbull and the fraudulent mechanics on the highway.

In the episode, it will be discovered whether the professor will fall victim to the fraudsters or he will outsmart them.

How about Olaniyi who abandons the motor park to hitch a ride from the roadside?

Is Samson a mere playboy or will his street sense prove relevant when it matters most?

The sponsor, Globacom stated that the relevance of “Point and Kill” lies in the fact that many are still being scammed by these roadside criminals.

The company assured that the new season “is as hot, hilarious and didactic as all the seasons before it”.

It noted that the topics to be treated in the new season “touch on the moral needs of a society like ours, giving all of us reason to go back to our valued cultures, traditions, and customs even as members of a dynamic global village.”

“We want to assure the viewers of Professor Johnbull, will give them value for their time as they stay glued to their TV sets for the new episode on Tuesday. The repeat broadcast comes up at 8.30 p.m. on Friday on the same TV channels,” Globacom pledged.
