GOtv subscribers will have the opportunity of watching the CAF Football Awards Ceremony Live.

The ceremony, which holds in Accra, Ghana, Thursday, will be beamed on SuperSport Select 1 at 8pm.  The final shortlist for the awards features Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane and Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Salah, the Egyptian star, has already won the 2017 BBC African Footballer of the Year award, while Gabon’s Aubameyang won the CAF African player of the year in 2015.

The list was arrived at following the whittling down of an 11-man shortlist announced in November.

Last year’s winner Riyad Mahrez of Algeria and Leicester City was omitted from the original list of nominees.

In the female category, Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala, Chrestina Kgatlana of South Africa and Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene of Cameroon are the nominees.

Women’s national team of the year nominees are Ghana U-20, Nigeria U-20 and South Africa U-20 teams have been nominated.

For coach of the year, Gernot Rohr (Nigeria), Hector Cuper (Egypt) and L’Hussein Amoutta of Wydad Casablanca are the nominees.
