Kemi Afolabi Goes Epic With All-Female Cast Flick, ‘Mo’ Dorisa’ (I’m Deity)

Fast rising Yoruba actress, Kemi Afolabi has blazed another trail with another rich traditional flick with an all-female cast titled Mo’Dorisa (I Am Deity).
The rich new flick features top Nollywood actresses including Fathia Balogun, Peju Ogunmola, Ayo Mogaji, Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), Bimbo Oshin, Ayo Adesanya, Tayo Odueke, Foluke Daramola, Ronke Ojo, Taiwo Akinwande, Dupe Jaiyesimi amongst others.
The captivating epic movie is about a village, Dayese , which never remained the same after a whirlwind swept away all male residents (both young and old), leaving the women with no choice but to take the bull by the horn.
Written by Yinka Olaoye, Produced by Kemi Afolabi and directed by Adebayo Tijani, Mo’ Dorisa is an epic movie that shows the strength, importance and problem solving skills of women in the society and further attest to the saying that what a man can do, a woman can do much better.
Shot in the ancient city of Ilaro (Ogun state), Mo ’Dorisa further preaches the importance of sustaining our rich cultural values as the movie is filled with lots of interesting, educating and intriguing storyline that will arrest viewers from the start to finish.
Mo‘ Dorisa is will be distributed by KAAS & DEE Entertainment, an outfit owned by Kemi Afolabi while plans are currently at an advanced stage towards the nationwide release of the movie at cinemas across the country.
Speaking on taking the movie for exhibition at cinemas across the country, Kemi Afolabi, the executive producer of the movie said there is a need to fully preach the cultural values of Yoruba nation to everyone and she was so optimistic that Nigerian will appreciate the movie when released because of its unique storyline.
