A 20-year old man, Taiwo Obatala has landed in trouble after he went to a company and demanded for N41 million debt he claimed one of the directors owed his late father over land in Isheri Olofin, Lagos.

Obatala was arrested after he stormed the company, Ademoj Global Service located at KM 80 LASU Road in Isheri Olofin in the outskirts of Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Taiwo claimed that his late father, Obatala had a land business transaction with one Mrs Mojisola Sanni, who is believed to be one of the owners of Ademoj Global Services to the amount he alleged.

He said Mrs Sanni, the complainant took the advantage of the death of his father to divert the money instead of paying it to the family.

He then went to the company and raised alarm in the presence of the staff and demanded for the money to the embarrassment of Sanni who denied that she owed Obatala family any money.

Following the assault and embarrassment, she went to the police station to report and Taiwo was arrested and charged to court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and false allegation.

At the police station, Taiwo insisted that Sanni was owing his late father and his father told him before he died
and wanted Sanni to pay him the money.

When the police reportedly demanded for proof, he was unable to do so.

He was taken to the Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo for the alleged offence.

At the court, Taiwo still maintained his stand and pleaded guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola ordered him to be remanded in prison custody.

The matter was adjourned for fact and sentence.
