The Operatives of State Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja Command, have arrested a fake policeman who hired police uniform and used it to rob a mobile police officer in Lagos.
The incident happened at Durotimi Etti complex at Lekki Phase One area of Lagos, where the suspect, Abubakar Ali, 22 accosted the police officer, Sergeant Gabriel Ameh of Mopol 20 Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Ali went to one Benedict Ben, hired the uniform, obtained fake police identity card, accosted Ameh and robbed him of his motorcycle and some of his properties and escaped.

His confession led to the arrest of the second suspect, Ben and the uniform and the ID card were recovered as exhibits. The suspects reportedly made confessional statements to the police.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that both Ali and Ben have been charged before a Lagos court where they are facing the charges of conspiracy, impersonation and robbery.
