Man Rains Blows On Lady In A Public Brawl

A 38-year old man, Ozili Sylvester has been arrested for publicly raining blows on a lady, Brandi Barrett and in the process damaged her upper lip during a brawl in Lagos.

The incident took place at Thomas Salako Street in Ogba, Lagos where they resided.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the victim suffered serious injury and he was rushed to a hospital where she underwent surgery to stitch her lip back.

The victim and the suspect did not disclose what led the suspect to inflict such injury on her, except the case of assault she raised.

However, it was gathered that the victim suffered her fate after she had an exchange of words with the suspect who reportedly got angry, rained serious blows on her and damaged her mouth.

The matter was reported to the police, Sylvester was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged assault.

He pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John did not object to his bail.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Dan Oni granted Sylvester bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
The suspect was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
