Meat Seller Turned Robber Jailed In Lagos

A 25-year-old convicted criminal, Adeola Jimoh, has confessed how he dumped meat selling for stealing, but now realised the mistake he made with his action. 

Jimoh said his meat selling business was profitable for him, but he had to dump the business for stealing last year.

PM EXPRESS gathered that Jimoh was arrested while stealing phones from a woman in Lagos and handed over to the police who charged him to court.

He was charged before an Isolo Magistrate Court where he was sentend to six  months imprisonment without an option of fine.

Ogun state -born Jimoh said he had a meat selling business which was going on well for him.

“I had a shop at Cele Express in Lagos. My business was going on well, but last year I decided to quit the meat business for full time stealing. I didn’t know the risk involved until I was arrested and charged to court, ” Jimoh narrated.

He was arrested at Idimu road on a night when he laid ambushed to snatch phones from  a woman.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that  while he was escaping, the victim raised an alarm, he was pursued and apprehended.

The phones were retrieved from him and he was handed over to the police at Ejigbo division.

He was taken to court where he pleaded guilty. The prosecutor Oje Uagbe presented a tight case against Jimoh who confessed to his act.

The court presided by Magistrate Mrs A.K. Shonubi found him guilty and he was sentenced accordingly.
