Oba Tejuoso Marks 28 Years On The Throne With 28 Hours Praise Jam

It was indeed 28 hours of great praise in Abeokuta, Ogun State as part of the activities to commemorate the coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Adedapo Tejuoso, CON, Karunwi III, Oranmiyan, Osile Oke-Ona Egba.
The praise held inside the main auditorium of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta began early evening of Friday 19 May and end Saturday.
The marathon praise programme paraded gospel artists in Nigeria and few others from the United Kingdom.
The annual event, which has always been driven by highly respected Evangelist Ebenezer Obey- Fabiyi, has renowned gospel artistes like Tope Alabi, Segun Oluwayomi, Ayan Jesu, Bukola Ajayi, Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Sewele Jesu, Mike Abdul, Esther Igbekele, Evangelist Obey and a host of others, present to add glamour to this year’s edition.
The annual event is the Royal Monarch’s way of expressing gratitude to God for His goodness and peaceful reign on the revered throne.
Last year’s edition was on for 27 hours marking the Royal Father’s 27 years on the Royal Stool and also featured Gospel greats.
Esther Igbekele, also known as the Duchess of gospel music, was present to join His Royal Majesty Oba Tejuoso in giving praise to God with her unique voice and melodious tunes.
In a chat with P.M.EXPRESS, distinguished Senator Prince Dr. Lanre Tejuoso (senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District) who is also a son of the revered monarch expressed his joy and thanked God for the life of his father; for the peaceful and progressive reign on the throne and for good health.
