Speaking at the school, Lola Masha, Country Manager, OLX stated that one of the values at OLX is “Live It” which is not expressed only by staff selling items they no longer need on the OLX platform to make extra cash but also by helping and empowering the communities in which we operate.

Masha added, “Though it has been a very challenging year for everyone especially with the economic recession; we were determined to put a smile on people’s faces especially the less fortunate in our society which is why we opted to paint Modupe Cole who empower kids with disabilities with the skills to earn a living in the society.”

Also speaking on the impact OLX made to the school; Rev Adebayo Adeyemi-Cole, Secretary of the Women’s Voluntary Organization, Founder of Modupe Cole extended appreciation to OLX Nigeria for their kind gesture of painting the school and generous donation of food supplies.
