Facts have emerged why some married men who have beautiful wives at their various homes but still seen in brothels and hotels soliciting for sex from prostitutes in Lagos.

The shocking findings were as a result of the painstaking investigation carried out by P.M.EXPRESS that lasted for several weeks where some of the patrons opened up on their sex predicaments in their various homes with their wives.
One of the patrons who identified him as Joseph (surname withheld) narrated that he married his wife nine years ago and were having fun before they had three children.

He said when those children started growing, he noticed that his wife no long have interest in him anymore nor care for sex rather she focused on their children and kept him lonely in the home.

He went on to say that he tried to talk to his wife over it but she did not care about his emotions and for the interest of peace and to save the marriage, he left her alone.

Joseph said when he could not cope with his wife’s attitude, whenever he returned from work he went out to drinking joints where he met with some friends who had similar situation and then was later introduced to those sex workers. And since then, he said he had peace of mind and sexually satisfied.

Another patron, Ejike said he was in similar situation just like Joseph because he had to fight his way every night before his wife will allow him a round of sex with so many conditions attached to it.

“Every night, I have to beg and cry to my wife for sex, sometimes she will pity me and offer me a round till the next time I will  cry and beg again”

He said when the situation became unbearable for him, he decided to move on and from then started patronizing the sex workers.

He said the first time he met one of the workers at a popular strip bar in Ikeja, he then knew that he had never really made love in his life compared to his wife’s performance.

When asked how, he narrated  that whenever we entered a room, she would boiled water and used the warm water to massage all his body before sucking every part of his body, an experience he never had before and he will leave for home really satisfied.

Ejike confessed that he actually paid heavily for the service and added that if his wife was able to give him such service at home, he would be spending much higher amount on her as wife.

He however said he still took good care of his family despite his adventure with sex workers.

The case of Ken was quite different from Joseph and Ejike who were driven out by their wives.

Ken said he had high libido as such his wife could not withstand his high sex demand.

He said when he married her some 12 years ago and they started having children, she was merely agreeing with pains all over her.

He said he thought she would relax later in the marriage but it became worse and they had to fight almost every night over sex.

So, for the sake of their children and marriage, they agreed that he should sort himself out with other women outside.

Ken said he decided to patronise those sex workers in order to satiate his high sexual desire and have peace at his home.

On the possibility of contracting diseases from them, he said he used sex protective materials as such contracting diseases was minimal.

Some of the patrons who spoke to P.M.EXPRESS also said similar things except Godwin and Jonathan who claimed that their wives were always tired after work and had no time for sex with them any longer.

Godwin said his wife wakes up 4.30 am daily, goes to work and returns 10.00 pm except on Saturdays and Sundays when she had to sleep and rest and would not want any disturbance from him.

“What do you want me do in such situation than to patronise these workers to keep the marriage?” he asked.

In the same vein, Jonathan said his wife determines when he will meet her otherwise there will be trouble because of the stress of her work.

He said sometimes it did last for six weeks or more and he will not complain but rather will quietly go out and meet those workers and then come back home as a good husband.

P.M.EXPRESS findings showed that most men who patronise these sex workers were motivated by some factors including absence of their wives’ care and attention, emotions, high libido, untidy homes, abandonment, association with friends and others which can be satisfied if properly handled by women in the various homes.
