A 19-year old, one Waris Rasheed, has been arrested in Lagos for trailing senior female workers to their company’s toilet and begging them for short time sex during work hours.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened within the premises of the company known as Imperior International Limited located at Ayodele Diyan Road in Ikeja, Lagos where he was employed as a worker.
Rasheed was said not to have spared married female workers who he trailed daily to the toilet begging for sex. The police did not state if he had succeeded in luring those ladies who were said to be older than him into the act.
Some said if he had not succeeded, he would not have been trying such on the ladies.
He was charged before the Ogba Magistrates court for sexual harassment and remanded in prison custody.
According to the police at Area F Command, Ikeja, the defendant on 5th November, 2018, sexually harassed the victims namely Olusola Bolaji, Victoria Daniel and Alawodo Abosode, all staff of the company inside the premises. He was said to have been asking for sexual favour during work hours when he was supposed to be working.
He pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Inspector Donny Raphael, did not oppose his bail but asked the court to give a date for trial.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, granted Rasheed bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The Rasheed was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 10th December, 2018, for mention.
