CYRIACUS IZUEKWE
Two single ladies, Elizabeth Wale and Happiness Nwokolene engaged themselves in a public brawl in Lagos and in the process Elizabeth was said to have maliciously damaged properties belonging to Happiness including her lingerie, condoms, and others.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Apena Street off Ago Palace Way in Okota, Lagos.
It was gathered that Elizabeth and Happiness had several quarrels over undisclosed matter which they did not disclose to their neighbours. P.M.EXPRESS scooped that their neighbours had tried to resolve the matter to no avail and that gave the neighbours the suspicion that they might have disagreed over love affairs which were deep between them.
On the day the incident happened, the ladies were said to have had a disagreement and in the process, Elizabeth was said to have damaged properties worth N63,000 belonging to Happiness. The matter was reported to the police; the suspect was arrested and charged to court.
She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr Oje Uagbale did not object to her bail condition. Thus the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Teluwo granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 6 June, 2018.
