2 Men Docked For Allegedly Stealing Company’s Truck Worth N100m

Two men, Quadri Musa, 33 and Adekunle Ridwan, 32, have been arrested and charged for allegedly stealing company’s truck worth N100m belonging to GPC Energy & Logistic Ltd in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident between 10th and 16th July, 2025, while on transit.
According to the Police, the suspects and others now at large, did conspire and stole a truck with Reg No: TTD 22 YL, property of GPC Energy & Logistic Ltd, located at 45 Regina Coker Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
They were alleged to have successfully diverted the truck after they remove the tracking device of the truck, diverted the goods and escaped.
The matter was reported to the Police at MAN Centre Division. The operatives moved into action, eventually arrested the suspects and detained them at the station for interrogation over their alleged conduct.
After thoroughly investigating the matter, the Police found them culpable and charged them before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The charges read:
“That you, Quadri Musa ‘m’, Adekunle Ridwan ‘m’ and one other now at large between on 10th and 16th July, 2025, while on transit in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit stealing of a truck with Reg No: TTD 22 YL, property of GPC Energy & Logistic Ltd located at No. 45 Regina Coker Street, Ikeja-Lagos and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.”
COUNT II:”That you, Quadri Musa ‘m’, Adekunle Ridwan ‘m’ and one other now at large on same date and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did remove the tracking device of a truck in your possession with Reg No: TTD 22 YL property of GPC Energy & Logistic Ltd located at No. 4b Regina Coker Street, Ikeja-Lagos to enable the conveyance of unauthorized white cement goods and thereby committed an offence contrary and punishable under Section 340 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.”
COUNT III:”That you, Quadri Musa ‘m’, Adekunle Ridwan ‘m’ and one other now at large on same date and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did steal one truck with Reg No: TTD 22 YL property of GPC Energy & Logistic Ltd located at No. 4b Regina Coker Street, Ikeja-Lagos valued N100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira) only and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 280 and punishable under Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.”
However, they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Phillip Ademigbuji asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kusanu, granted them bail with sureties, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
