2 Men Gang Rape 15-Year Old Girl Seeking For Job

A 15-year old girl who was looking for a job and solicited for assistance has been gang raped by two man who promised to secure job for her in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Victor Monday and Anayo Muhammad has been arrested for their alleged involvement in the abduction and rape of the victim.

The incident happened at Iyana Iba area in Ojo Local government area of Lagos where she was taken to under the false pretense of securing a job for her, while the victim resided with her sister at Lawal Close in Igando area of Alimosho Local governemt area of Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the victim had finished her secondary school and was waiting to take her JAMB exams in order to further her education but needed a job that will keep her busy. She then solicited for assistance from the suspects to help get a job for her and they promised to do so.

Unknown to her, they had another motive. It was gathered that they later told her that they had secured the job for her at Iyana Iba area and arranged to take her to the place. She was then taken to the place and was forcefully raped severally by the suspects before they allowed her to go without giving her any job.

When she returned home, she told her sister what happened and the matter was reported to the police at Igando Division. The suspects were trailed, arrested and detained at the police station. They confessed that they had sex with her but that she was not raped.

They were charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for the alleged offence.

They pleaded not guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O.Osunsanmi granted the suspects bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 2 Febuary, 2018 for trial, while the suspects were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
