A 50-year old man, Mr. Charles Chikwendu, was taught a bitter lesson after he reportedly engaged two single ladies in amorous relationship, they later realized his deceit, framed him up, he was sent to prison and they then looted his properties.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Akiola Osun Street, Igando area of Lagos, where Charles resided before he was remanded in prison for six months and met nothing in his apartment when he came out.

The ladies, Patricia Odigbo, 47 and Ifeoma Osike, 35, were arrested by the Police over the alleged act.

Patricia and Ifeoma had children as single mothers but reportedly trapped Charles in relationship without each of them knowing over a period of time.
It gathered that the victim, Charles, engaged Patricia and Ifeoma in relationship, which they had thought would lead to marriage.
However, the ladies later discovered that he was actually dating both of them secretly and they then reportedly conspired, framed Charles up, he was arrested and remanded in prison custody for an undisclosed offence for six months.
When Charles was eventually released from prison custody, he discovered that the ladies had shared his properties and equally damaged his Range Rover SUV with registration number AE 283TDU.

The total cost of the alleged looting properties was about N10m. The victim, Charles, reported the matter to the Police through a petition to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police. The suspects, Patricia and Ifeoma, were then arrested and detained at the Police Command for investigation.

After investigation, the Police found them culpable and charged them before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conspiracy and stealing including damaging Charles’ Range Rover SUV.

The ladies pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector Evelyn Ehiemua, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since the defendants pleaded not guilty for the Police to prove that the defendants committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.E. Israel-Adelakun, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
The matter was adjourned till 6th October, 2019.

When P.M.EXPRESS contacted the victim Mr. Charles, he confirmed the looting of his properties. He narrated how the ladies framed him up, got him arrested and remanded in prison custody before they looted everything he had with the hope that he will not come out of prison.
