2 Single Women Docked For Fighting Publicly Over Man

Two single women, Fatima Azeez, 38 and Oluwaseun Busari, 40, have been arrested and charged for allegedly engaging in a public fight over an unidentified man in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Pasheda Street, Alagbado area of Lagos, where they reside.
According to Police, the women had a disagreement over a man, which resulted in exchange of hot words and abuses that later degenerated to a public fight between them.
It took the intervention of the Police, who brought the matter under control and the two women were arrested and detained at the Alagbado Division for interrogation over their alleged conduct.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during interogation, the Police concluded that the women actually constituted public nuisance by engaging in public fight over a man.
They were found culpable and the DPO  ordered for their arraignment before the Ogba Magistrate Court for conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and affray.
However, they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, asked the Court to give to date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, granted them bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses must be verified by the Court.
The defendants were remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail condition while the matter was adjourned till 7th September, 2023, for mention.
