Two women, Ogunbiyi Damilola and Temitayo Martins, have landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly engaging themselves in serious public fight over a man inside the market.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 8th September, 2024, at Oshodi Market, over an undisclosed matter between them.

According to the Police, Damilola first attacked Mr. Martin Rotimi, when she sighted him with Temitayo and tore his shirt. And while Damilola was assaulting him, Temitayo attempted to rescue Rotimi from her.

The action turned into a serious fight between the two women in the market to the extent they were said to have injured themselves in the process.

The matter was reported to the Police at Akinpelu Division. Damilola and Temitayo were arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over their alleged conduct.

During interrogation, the Police discovered that they were actually fighting over Mr. Rotimi, but the Police did not disclose the relationship between them.

The Police found them culpable for affray and charged them before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.

However, they pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and tax payment while addresses will be verified by the Court.

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
