As the countdown to 2019 General elections builds up, Delta North Senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Engr. Doris Uboh, has debunked the claim by Dr. Mrs. Marian Alli, whom she defeated during the party primaries in Asaba, who claims that Abuja High Court ruling against her, saying Anioma people should be wary of such deceptive and mischievous story making the rounds, as she, Hon. Uboh remains the party’s flag bearer.

This was contained in a press release made available late Wednesday at Asaba by the Media Team leader of Hon. Doris Uboh Campaign organization, Mr. Joseph Adimabua.

It reads thus: “The attention of Hon. Doris Uboh Campaign organization, has been drawn to a misleading media publication, mainly on social media, that a High court in Abuja had disqualified Doris Uboh as the Delta North Senatorial candidate of the APC for 2019 General elections, by Dr. Mrs. Marian Ali, and also using her supporters to instigate the populace against the people’s choice which our principal (Doris Uboh) represents.”

Also, we wouldn’t want to reply this trash but as a responsible team that understands the power of information and the media, we wish to state clearly that as at the time of this publication, being Wednesday, December 26, 2018, Hon. Doris Uboh remains the APC Delta North Senatorial candidate on the INEC list for 2019 General elections, and the said judgement being paraded by MARIAN ALI did not challenge Hon.  Doris Uboh’s candidacy neither was the primaries of Oct.  4th challenged.”

It further reads that, “However, we are not surprised with the scandalous attack as they have over time threatened to blackmail and raise falsehoods against the personality of Hon. Engr. Uboh, to distract us, but we have resolved to remain focused on the greater goal ahead. It is rather unfortunate that Mrs. Marian Ali who supposed to queue behind the successful politicians to brighten up her political destiny could stoop this low and be involved in the  personal attack on Hon Doris Uboh just to distract the Anioma people.

“We therefore advice all our teeming  supporters, the good people of Delta North and general public to disregard this  mischievous and misleading information about a judgement of disqualification, as Hon. Doris Uboh remains the APC candidate and remain an agent of a new Anioma.
