The 2019 WGB/Lagos State FA Cup continues to gather momentum with the distribution of jerseys to the four finalists.
The sponsors of the Lagos State FA Cup, Winners Golden Bet made good their promise of kitting the finalists when their Assistant Manager Sales, Deji Beecroft on Wednesday presented the jerseys to the club representatives at the boardroom of the Agege Stadium during the Pre-match meeting.
Speaking after the presentation, Beecroft said the gesture was in line with the company’s policy of empowering Nigerians which prompted them to identify with the Lagos State FA with the sponsorship of the FA Cup for the last seven editions with innovation annually.
“This year we promised to kit the finalists and we have made good our promise”, he stated.
He noted that this year’s finals holding Sunday at the Agege Stadium will not only be football but a synergy between sports and entertainment with world renowned artist, Small Doctor leading other musical acts to entertain the crowd.
Beecroft revealed that the fans will also be going to enjoy the company’s goodwill with the distribution of T-shirts plus other gift items to teeming fans.
The finals will see the defending champions, FC Robo Queens take on last year’s runners up, Young Talent 99 Football Academy in a repeat of last year’s final.
The Men’s last year’s runners up, Smart City Football Club will hope to go a step further and win the giant trophy and 1m cash prize when they battle Spartans Football Club.
