2021 Guber: Anambra South Youths Demand Candidate From Nnewi South

Yesterday at St Mary’s field Ukpor Centre, the youth leaders of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) converged to lend their voices in support of Nnewi South APGA.  

 The stakeholders, who spoke at the event, elucidated the need for  Nnewi South son/daughter to be elected as a Governor in 2021. All the Ward Youth leaders from the 7 LGAs that made up Anambra South spoke in support of the ambition of Ndi Nnewi South.

 In his words, the former Chairman of Nnewi South LGA, Chief Felix Chinedu Odimegwu, extolled the leadership qualities and the developmental strides of the Governor of Anambra State under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). He said that Ndi Nnewi South requested from the party & the party during the Gubernatorial campaign in 2017 that Onye Nnewi South should be supported in 2021.

Chief Felix said that Nnewi South delivered 99% votes to APGA in 2017 and assured the Governor and the party that Ndi Nnewi South will maintain the stability and continue the developmental strides already started by Akpokuodike’s administration. He mentioned that Ihiala have taken their own slot, Aguata have taken their own slot, Nnewi North are currently with the Senate and they had the first female Governor in Nigeria. He assured the party, APGA and the Governor that Ndi Nnewi South are ready and have the all the logistics for the election. 

Also in his words, one of the super stakeholders in the LGA, Hon Barr Ifeanyi Ezegamba, also lent his voice in requesting that the party ticket should be given to Onye Nnewi South. He categorically mentioned that the youths of Anambra State are ready to support Ndi Nnewi South to move Anambra to greater heights.

 Another youth stakeholder, Chief Hon Ibeneme Chika, equally spoke in support of the youths.  The leader of the youths in Nnewi South Local Government Area, who is the convener of the rally, was full of joy that all the youths from Aguata, Orumba North & South, Nnewi North & South, Ihiala & Ekwusigo trouped out en masse to support Ndi Nnewi South. He told them that whenever they need the support of Nnewi South youths, they will get it a 100 fold because one good turn deserves another.

 The event was attended by the Former Chairman of Nnewi South LGA, Chief Hon Felix Chinedu Odimegwu (Anyaora Ezinifite), Chief Hon Ibeneme Chika (Odaa Opuo Amichi), Hon Barr Ifeanyi Ezegamba, Hon Dubem Okeke & host of others. 

The event was hosted by the Youth Leader of APGA Nnewi South, Hon Emeka Alaehobi(Emeka Bakassi).
