For her recent feat in the political process, the All Progressives Congress, APC’s youngest aspirant, 26-year old Rukayat Shittu, contesting the Owode/Onire Constituency seat at the Kwara State House of Assembly in the 2023 election, has got an invite from the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC.
Extending the invitation to Rukayat Shittu, Mrs. Nusirat Olomoda, a correspondent of the broadcasting station, commended the aspirant’s doggedness, adding that Rukayat has become an inspiration to many young people, who are passionate about Nigeria politics, particularly in Kwara State.
Rukayat Shittu, who is the first female Senate President of NOUN students, Congress of NOUN Students (CONS), declared her interest in the race on May 4 and her candidature has attracted huge interest amongst youths and women within the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
