2023 Election: Constituency Youths Purchase Nomination Form For Hon Kasunmu

Another political history was recorded today in Ikeja Constituency 2 when a group of progressive youths known as Ikeja Constituency 2 Youth Alliance (ICOYA), purchased APC Nominationn and Expression of Interest Forms for the lawmaker representating the Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu, popularly called ARK.

Ikeja Constituency 2 Youth Alliance is made up of young and positive-minded persons in the Constituency who have benefitted from various employment and other empowerment opportunities through Hon. Kasunmu in the last 7 years.

Speaking at the form presentation ceremony at the Constituency office of the lawmaker on Seriki Aro street, Ikeja today Wednesday 4th May 2022,


the Coordinator of the group, Prince Kazeem Haruna from Agidingbi, State that ” Hon. Kasunmu has been doing a fantastic job since 2015, he has assisted a lot of Youth with employment opportunities, including myself and we felt the only thing we could do to show appreciation at this time is to come together and support him.

So we decided to task ourselves and our friends to raise fund and purchase the party’s nomination and EOI forms for him, to show appreciation to him and support for his reelection bid”

Also speaking at the event, which took place at Hon. Kasunmu’s Constituency Office on Seriki Aro Street, Ikeja, another stakeholder of the group, Mrs. Ifedayo Temilola of Ward D, Oke-Ira, commended Hon. Kasunmu for his remarkable representation so far and thanked him for the job opportunities given to constituents like her.

In his response, Hon. Kasunmu expressed surprise at the good gesture of Ikeja Constituency 2 Youth Alliance and thanked them warmly for taking it upon themselves to purchase the form for him.
He promised not to take good representation to the next as he seeks to represent them again in 2023.
