The Apex Sociopolitical Igbo group known as Igbo National Stakeholders Assembly, INSA Worldwide, has collapsed all the political structures in Igbo land and Diaspora as it partners with the management of Sun Newspapers for mobilization for Igbo Presidency for 2023.

P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the President of INSA, Chief John Uche, during INSA courtesy visit to the Sun Newspapers in Ikeja, Lagos.

Chief Uche, who was the first President of Ohanaeze, Lagos State, visited the management of the Sun Newspapers to solicit their support on Igbo agenda in Nigeria.

He was accompanied by the Igbo Traditional Leader in Mushin Kingdom, Eze John Nwosu, Chief Friday Okike, General Secretary, Lizy Anowai, National Women Leader, Rose Bello, Lagos State Women Leader, Chief Kali Uguru and Hon. Christopher Ekechukwu.

In his address, Uche said that INSA is the Apex sociopolitical organization of Ndigbo in Nigeria and Diaspora, formed in 2017 to serve as political structure for Ndigbo to use to negotiate their political position in Nigeria polity.

He noted that over the years, Igbo have been operating on sociocultural groups like Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Market Associations, and town unions and had not had sociopolitical organization to use as basis for negotiating their political and general interests in Nigeria.

“Hence, INSA has therefore, collapsed every other Igbo Political group and has built structures in all the 36 States including FCT and Diaspora. Therefore, INSA is in a better position to advance and negotiate whatever interest the Igbo may agitate or seek to achieve.”

Chief Uche noted that over the years, some people imagined if the Igbo man can be President of Nigeria, stressing that Igbo is one of the tripod components of Nigeria and other tribes geopolitical zones have produced President except Ndigbo.

“Therefore, it is the turn of Ndigbo to exercise their inalienable rights in vying for the position of President of Nigeria” Uche said.

He called all the political groups, ethnic nationalities, religious and sociocultural groups to support and rally round Ndigbo in this divine mandate to save Nigeria from total collapse and extinction.

He asked for the support of and partner with the management of the  Sun Publishing Limited on the project of Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.

In response, the Managing Director of the Sun Newspapers, Mr. Onuoha Ukeh, assured them of support and advised them to make friends and contact other ethnic groups in Nigeria in order to achieve their aims in the project.
