Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has declared that he is more better than any other candidates contesting in the 2023 governorship election next year.
Sanwo-Olu said that the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor and others, are mere noisemakers who would be left to make their huge noise after which there would be calmness that will herald his victory at the poll next year.
Sanwo-Olu made this declaration while signing off the Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit 2022 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, on Tuesday night.
Amid cheers from dignitaries who included captains of industry, diplomats, traditional rulers and other important personalities who came for the Summit, the Governor who reminded his audience that he, as a politician, won’t miss the opportunity availed him by the closing ceremony of the Summit to kick start his campaign for the governorship race, said his performance in the three and half years in office gives him the confidence going into the election.
The Governor said the people of Lagos know what to do on the day of the election as the citizen oriented programmes of his government will give him a comfortable edge in the coming election.
