A well respected sociopolitical group, Southern Youth Foundation, has declared total support for the reelection of Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie in the forthcoming 2023 General Election.
The declaration came after the group passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Rt Hon Edison Ehie at the end of a crucial meeting held at Edeoha town in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State on 18th September, 2022.
According to the leadership of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, their resolution to pass the vote of confidence on Rt Hon Edison Ogerenye Ehie, who incidentally happens to be the Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, was hinged on his legislative strides and immense contributions to the development of Ahoada East since he was elected by the people.
Speaking to the media after the crucial meeting at Edeoha, Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “At our meeting today, the leadership and members of Southern Youth Foundation unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Rt Hon Edison Ehie”.
“We arrived at our decision to give Rt Hon Edison our total support after wide consultations with the people and based on the outstanding achievements of our respected lawmaker. The reward for a job well done is more work and another term as legislator. Therefore, we resolved to throw our weight and votes behind his candidacy for quality representation and greater service to Ahoada and Rivers State.”
