2023: The Towering Popularity Of Imo APC & Gov Uzodimma’s Phenomenal Achievements Frighten Opposition PDP

Our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State has observed with pleasing excitement that our towering popularity amongst the Imo electorate, courtesy of the resourcefulness and leadership dexterity of the Hon. Macdonald Ebere, Ph.D led State Executive Committee as well as the phenomenal infrastructural strides of Gov. Hope Uzodimma’s Shared Prosperity administration of Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, has continued to send the tactless, flagging, unattractive and wobbling opposition PDP in Imo into an unimaginable panic mode.
Everyday, we wake up to new song of lamentation, hopelessness, dejection and misery from the opposition PDP, in the name of press release, poorly skewed with fabricated falsehood against the APC led government of Gov. Uzodimma. It has become a stock in trade and habitual attitude of the uninspiring and sluggish leadership of PDP in the state to brandish unsubstantiated and unfounded allegations against our party and our government.
This ploy to undermine the credibility, popularity and integrity of this administration, we understand, is a helpless catch-up strategy for the PDP.
There is nothing, we mean absolutely nothing,  the sloppy opposition PDP has not accused the APC led administration since its unceremonious exit from office through the January 14, 2020 landmark judgment of the Supreme Court that brought its fraudulent and illegal occupation of Douglas House to a deservedly end.
We recall the hullabaloo about the mischievous propaganda of change of Imo State University to Abba Kyari University, as well as the purported establishment of the controversial RUGA farm in Ngor Okpala amongst others, which eventually overtime came out to be fabricated fallacies to the chagrin of ndi Imo.
The current allegation against our party of plotting to commit electoral fraud through massive vote buying in the state ahead of 2023 general election, is not only laughable, illogical, unreasonable but another confirmation that Imo PDP has lost all, including, common sense of rationality and respect for the sensibility of the good people of Imo State.
While we know before now that Imo PDP is not ready to face a more tactically prepared, structurally organized, morally fortified and unarguably most vibrant and visible political party like ours in the forthcoming general elections, this latest ridiculous call on INEC to disqualify candidates of our party clearly shows how unprepared, unserious and untidy the Chief Charles Ugwu led Ihedioha’s faction of PDP has become.
While Imo PDP is still in its frustration induced slumber with songs of lamentation and bitterness against itself and everything, we as a serious minded people driven political party are currently crisscrossing all the nooks and crannies of the state on a town hall meeting with leadership and members of our party in the 27 local government areas in the state. Preparation they say begat success.
While we are  working for our success, Imo PDP is relying on its outdated and unpopular “MBAISE MAGIC” of 2015 to sneak into government house. It will NEVER work again!
As we engage our people ahead of the 2023 general election, we are very proud and excited with our scorecard, the signature projects of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s led administration in line with his 3R mantra of Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction. There is no doubt that these uncommon accomplishments of Uzodinma in the area of critical infrastructure like urban renewal, durable road network, recovery of  stolen public properties, rehabilitation of moribund public assets like Standard Shoe Industry, Acharaugbo Farm Settlements etc badly unsettles Imo PDP.
While we recall that PDP last won election in Imo albeit fraudulent violation of electoral process in 2003, almost a decade ago, it is important to note that PDP has completely lose touch with election victory and the road to it. Unfortunately, we cannot allow PDP to return us to it’s inglorious era of box snatching, falsification of election result, mutilation of sensitive electoral materials, militarization of democracy and all manner of brigandage etc.
We advise Imo PDP to wake up from their current state of hallucination and face the prevailing realities or possibly embrace its looming extinction ahead of 2023.
