Atiku-Okowa Presidential Management Committee in Anambra state, led by Professor Obiora Okonkwo, OFR is not relenting in ensuring that PDP in the state wins as always.
The campaign committee has continued to engage and rally stakeholders and reach out to more electorates in the state to inform them why Atiku Abubakar is the best choice for the people and Nigeria in the February 25 poll.
This was contained in the statement by the Deputy Director of Media and Publicity for the Atiku-Okowa Campaign in Anambra State, Uloka Chukwubuike, where he stated that the Committee has done its assignments diligently and is confident of victory in the forthcoming poll.
“To ensure that the PDP in Anambra State wins as always, we have kept meticulously crossing all ts and dotting all i’s. Through numerous channels, we have continued to engage stakeholders and connect with every electorate in the state, and they are dedicated to seeing Nigeria recovered and rebuilt.”
The Presidential management committee has successfully inaugurated wards and polling booths, an election management committee, canvassers, and other sub-committees to ensure there are many feet on the ground to engage electorates, ensure they vote, and equally protect the votes of the PDP in Anambra State.
Uloka informed that the PDP party is harnessing her popularity and presence across the 326 wards and 5720 polling booths in Anambra State, insisting that no other political party can match the strength of the PDP in the national elections in the state.
“It’s on record that across every booth or family in Anambra state, there is a PDP member, supporter, or stakeholder; no party except APGA can come close to such a feat, but in national elections, APGA are not as powerful as PDP; we have continued to deliver Anambra to PDP since 1999 in national elections, hence our theme for the February 25 poll is “Win as always.” “We have also tasked every stakeholder to deliver a minimum of 1,000 votes per ward; this is to reflect the popularity and large grassroot appeal of the PDP in Anambra State.”
“The resolve of the Professor Obiora Okonkwo-led Presidential campaign management committee is to reconnect Anambra State to the national grid. Anambra, which is regarded as an “A” in the country, has stayed out of national politics for far too long, hence the need to have the state back at the center of politics in Nigeria, which I believe will pave the way for a Nigerian President of Southeast extraction among other dividends of democracy.”
“Nigeria has remained in the throes of a quagmire that, if not rescued soon, would lead us to annihilation. Nigerians across all divides have queued behind Atiku-Okowa’s ticket to rescue and recover Nigeria. The clamor is the same from north to south: Nigerians want the PDP back to power. We must seize the opportunity to have our region and state reconnected to the national grid and together ensure that Nigeria works again” Uloka said.
The presidential campaign committee also revealed that they have received thousands of decampees into the PDP in the last few weeks and are still open to receiving others who are willing to join the rescue and recovery plan of the Atiku-Okowa ticket.
“It is clear from their past performance that Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyichukwu Okowa are the most qualified and experienced candidates to lead Nigeria out of its current predicament.”
