3 Men Gang Rape 23-Year Old Lady

A 23-year old lady suffered serious injury in her private part after she was gang raped in Lagos by three men who forcefully engaged her in sex romp in turns.

The incident happened at Okeho Street in Dopemu area of Lagos where they resided.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the victim was lured into the room where she met the three men who locked the door from inside and warned her not to raise alarm otherwise they will kill her. They ordered her to remove her pant and clothes. She was then forced to open her legs on a bed inside the room.

Police sources said that they took turns to rape her and thereafter allowed her to go. But before they released her, they had already injured her and she was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. The matter was reported to Isokoko Police Division who went after the suspects.

One of the suspects, Daniel Alidu, 24, was later arrested in connection with the rape and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged offence.
The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher Donny alleged that the suspect and two others now at large conspired and raped the victim who had suffered severe injury in her private part. Mr. Donny did not object to his being granted bail but asked the court to use its discretion on the bail as the two other suspects were still at large.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka granted Daniel bail in the sum of N300,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.
The matter was adjourned till 6th August, 2018.

Incidences of rape had been of serious concern for the police as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, noted that it was on the increase on daily basis. He advised perpetrators to desist from the act and charged members of the public to be vigilant to forestall such act and report promptly to the police.
