A 32-year old Sulaimon Adams who engaged a 15-year old girl in a sex romp has landed in big trouble in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Adams was arrested as a result of the incident which took place at Ring Road by Araromi Street in Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos where they resided.
It was learnt that Adams had continued with the sex romp until it got to the knowledge of the girl’s parents. The victim’s parents who were very angry over the act, immediately took steps to arrest the suspect.
The suspect was later arrested following a report by the victim’s parents to the police that Adams had defiled their underaged daughter when they were not around.
The police detained Adams at the police station where he was interrogated over the alleged raped. It was gathered that he admitted that he actually slept with her but that she willingly accepted and he penetrated her without causing her any pain.
However, the police found him culpable because of the age of the victim and charged him before Ogba Magistrates court for unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim.
While Adams was being arraigned, the prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John informed the court that the suspect had engaged the victim in sex despite the fact he knew that she was an underaged girl and asked the court to use its discretion while granting him bail.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties who must show evidence of tax payment.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 16 May, 2018.
