In what appeared like a pornographic movie, four men lured a 12-year old girl (name withheld) to a place where they gang-raped her in turns in Lagos.
The incident happened at Seme boarder area where both the suspects and the victim reside with her parents. The police have arrested the four men for their alleged involvement in the rape of the victim who was said to be recuperating from the assault.
The suspects were Ekene Okechukwu, 34, Chinedu Obi, 39, Fatai Jimoh, 40 and Festus Ngbada,23. P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the suspects lured the victim into a place where they threatened to kill her, forced her to remove her pant and clothes. They reportedly forced her on a bed and penetrated her in turns.
It was gathered that while one person was forcefully penetrating her, others watched the action as the victim was being raped. P.M.EXPRESS gathered that after they had satisfied themselves, they released her to go but by then she was already weak. She fell down and was rushed to a hospital where she was treated.
It was after she regained herself, that she narrated what happened to her parents and the matter was reported to the police.
The police at the Seme border trailed the suspects and eventually arrested them and transferred the matter to Ikeja State Command. They were charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for conspiracy and rape under the Criminal Code. They pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs B.O.Osunsanmi granted them bail in the sum of N500,000 each with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition. The matter was adjourned till 12th of November, 2017.
