The Police at Ikeja Division, Lagos, have arrested four suspects who allegedly gang raped a 15-year old girl by reportedly engaging her in marathon sex one after the other and injured her private part.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Araromi Street in Anifowoshe area of Ikeja Lagos where they reside.

The suspects were Stephen Godwin, 33, Henry Obo, 25, Stanley Igben,33 and a teenager, Sah Osagie, 17.

It was gathered that the suspects, who are cooling their heads in prison custody, reportedly lured the victim into an apartment and threatened her to submission. They allegedly forcefully removed her pant and engaged her in sex romp one after the other. She was later allowed to go after they had satisfied themselves and she had sustained injury in her private part.

The victim was taken to the hospital after she reported what happened to her to the Police at Ikeja Division. The Police then trailed the suspects and arrested them.

After interrogation, the Police found them culpable of gang raping the victim and they were charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement and remanded in prison custody pending when the DPP advice will be ready.
This followed after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered the defendants to be remanded in prison custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 15th July, 2019. The matter may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds them culpable for the alleged offence.
