Your 5-Year Old Girl Has Been Tampered Sexually – Doctor Tells Mother

An embittered mother was shocked after she received report from a doctor that her 5-year old daughter has been violated severally; her hymen ruptured and she may not walk properly again as a resulted sexual assault.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that was the result of medical tests carried out after the little girl was reportedly raped by their neighbour while the mother was sleeping.

The 35-year old suspect, Mr Achibong Koko, has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling the little girl and injuring her in the process which affected her not walking properly.

The incident happened at Dansa area of Abule Oshun in the outskirts of Lagos where they resided.

While the suspect was paraded, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, stated that on 24th June, 2018, the DPO Onireke Division received information that the victim was defiled by their neighbour at their residence. Hence a team of detective were mobilized to the area and Mr. Koko was arrested, detained at the police station before the matter was transferred to the Command.

Edgal said that during investigations, the mother of the victim said that her daughter left her room while she was asleep unknown to her that the little girl was being violated. The mother later noticed that the victim was not walking properly and interrogated her. The little girl then revealed that Koko took advantage of her.

The police boss said that the victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital where the doctor confirmed that she was raped and her hymen ruptured as the result of the abuse. He said that the matter has been transferred to the Gender section of the Command and the suspect will be charged to court after the conclusion of the investigations.

However, Koko denied the allegation and insisted that the victim just pointed at him unjustly because he had never tried such thing in his life. But he was unable to explain why the victim accused him despite the fact that he was not the only person living in their compound.
