The 2021 edition of the Asisat Oshoala Football4girls tournament kicked off in style at the Campus mini stadium in Lagos on Thursday.
Over 16 secondary schools and academies in Nigeria are taking part in the three days tourney, which is featuring among other things mentorship sessions, life skills and medical programmes.
Founder of the Foundation, Captain of Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Oshoala expressed excitement following the turnout of participants in the 6th edition of the all-girls tournament.
P.M. EXPRESS reports that the event is proudly sponsored by Emzor Pharmaceuticals, UBA Foundation, and Molped sanitary pad.
The winners of the tournament will go home with a huge cash prize, while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament will have the opportunity of travelling for education and exposure in football.
