As a proud son of Ogun State and a keen observer of the steady transformation across Ogun West senatorial district, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to make this heartfelt call: Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), CON, it is time to take your service to Ogun State to a higher level — I urge you to contest for the office of Governor of Ogun State in 2027.

Your track record as the distinguished Senator representing Ogun West is nothing short of inspiring. You have demonstrated exceptional intelligence, diligence, and an unwavering commitment to public service. Through your legislative acumen, several impactful bills sponsored by you have been signed into law — laws that are shaping lives and futures.

Beyond the chambers of the Senate, your touch has been felt through transformational capital projects: construction of roads, establishment and equipping of healthcare centers and hospitals, empowerment of farmers, artisans, market men and women, provision of scholarships, rural water schemes, solar and renewable energy initiatives, and widespread community electrification. These are not mere projects — they are life-changing interventions.

Your vision for mechanized agriculture, solid mineral development, enhanced security architecture, qualitative education, robust infrastructure, and worker welfare speaks to the heart of what Ogun State needs at this critical time.

One morning we spoke for over 3hrs (5am to some minutes after 8am). You spoke about mechanized agriculture and ensuring the complete value chain laying emphasis on processing and commodity exchange commission among other things. You said and i quote, “Damochee, there is no reason we shouldn’t go back to mechanized agriculture in Ogun State. It has been done before and we will do it again. The governor (D.A) has really made it easy for us to ensure the complete value chain with the construction of the Gateway International Airport, where real export can take place without getting to Lagos”.

The 2027 gubernatorial race must not be about ambition, but about capacity and proven service — and you, YAYI, have both in abundance. We see in you a leader prepared not just by politics, but by performance. You have walked the talk.

The people of Ogun State deserve a leader with vision, capacity, and the courage to act — that leader is Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI). Ogun West, Ogun Central, and Ogun East must unite behind a man who has proven he can deliver. It’s a God ordained plan and like you said and i quote, “Damochee we must thank God and we must thank the Governor because if he had said no, it might not have been possible. We have to thank Baba Osoba too…”. Personally, I thank Governor Dapo Abiodun CON too for making this journey a fruitful one in 2023.

It’s time to elevate good governance to a higher level. This is not politics, It’s PURPOSE, It’s SERVICE. It’s TIME, 2027 is calling, YAYI, answer the call. Lead us forward! God bless Ogun State.
