I am awestruck and speechless.
I am having a unique and dumbfounding experience.
The attached picture speaks.
It is one of several surprises on my first visit this morning to The Delborough in Victoria Island, probably the best hotel in Africa, a combination of class, style, beauty service and luxury.
A red-carpet welcome (valet and all) is laid before me. I am taken round the magnificent facility, my silence saying much more than my limited vocabulary could have done to capture this experience.
As I walk into the lift and, later, into one of the rooms, and in both places I am ‘confronted’ with my imposing image on the TV screens welcoming ME to the hotel.
It is a touch of creative genius.
For those with the status and the financial
muscle, it is a place to visit, to experience, to appreciate, to luxuriate in, and then to doff a hat in respect, as I did, to the industry and daring-do of Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu, a young, very successful man whose resume and activities in philanthropy will fill an entire book.
The Delborough, Lagos is his masterpiece! Check it out.
