Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Greets Christians At Easter

The Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area, Lagos State and National Deputy Chairman (Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria), Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has sent felicitations to Christians across the world as they mark the Easter celebrations.

In her Easter message, she said, “Hearty Warm  felicitations  and  greetings  to  our Christian  brothers  and  sisters  across  Ikorodu Federal constituency, Lagosians and indeed  all Nigerians on this great  occasion of Easter celebrations  in  memory  of  the legendary  spirit  of  sacrifice and selflessness  espoused and exhibited by  Jesus Christ”.

“I will like to appeal to our  Christian brothers and sisters to see  the celebration as a period for sober  reflection on what Jesus Christ  stood and  died  for,  rededicate ourselves  to  strong  Christian  ideals of Easter celebration,  because  Jesus Christ came to earth with  a  message of hope, while  his  love and  compassion  reached out to  everyone even the downtrodden in  the  society.”

“To  our Christian brothers and sisters saddled with leadership  positions,  I  enjoin us   to  truly lead from the heart, show  love,  generosity, passion for true service to humanity,  magnanimity and  desire to make  a change in   people’s lives  because the exemplary  virtues of  Jesus Christ  should  be  emulated in the  people’s  daily lives as  he  lived  and  died  for  the  remission of  sins  and to guarantee our freedom as  partners  in  progress.”

“We should be our  brother’s  keeper  always  and  make  necessary  sacrifices for our  fellow country men and women because  Easter  symbolizes sacrifice and service to God and humanity.
