The National Chairman of Association of Vice Chairmen of Local Government Areas in Nigeria and Executive Vice Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area, Lagos State, Aarebinrin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has used the opportunity provided by Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary celebration to appreciate his colleagues, the Vice Chairmen of Local Government Areas in Nigeria and the Executive Chairmen for standing to be counted in development of the country and the growth of democracy.
In her Independence Day message, Hon Princess Folashade said, “On behalf of the National Executive of our association, I use the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary celebration to appreciate you my colleagues for always standing by our principals, the Executive Chairmen, ensuring genuine developments at the grassroots”.
“As we continue to provide the needed support as pillars to the Executive Chairmen, we must ensure that the forthcoming transition is achieved through peaceful and smooth process. We must endeavour to remain great assets to one another. We must equally keep good names with impeccable integrity as we engender love, peace and progress in our different Local Councils with unalloyed passion for service to the people.”
