Abia 2027: Mascot Kalu Picks Governorship Form, Charges Supporters To Be Resolute

Hon. Mascot Uzor Kalu has make bold his aspiration to become the next Governor of Abia State after he picked up the expression of interest and Nomination form for the Governorship seat at the All Progressives Congress Party Secretariat in Abuja.

The junior brother to former Governor of the State His Excellency Sen Orji Uzor Kalu who was accompanied my some of his allies had earlier in March this year declared his intention in the State.

In his word after receiving his form: “Today, in a clear demonstration of my commitment to contest the 2027 governorship election in Abia State under the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), I took the valiant step of purchasing the party’s nomination form, thereby becoming the first aspirant to do so and to contest the upcoming primaries.

“To my teeming supporters and followers, do not be shaken; remain resolutely steadfast, for I did not start this journey only to back down for anybody halfway.

“My appreciation goes to all who have believed in my vision for a greater Abia, the State Working Committee of the Abia APC, the National Working Committee (NWC), and all leaders and stakeholders of our party for steering the party in the right direction.”

Hon. Kalu with this move, made him the first aspirant from APC to obtained the Governorship form in the State in preparation for the Party’s Primary.
