ABIA 2019: FORGET POLITICAL PARTIES AND ZONING

GREAT IMO JONATHAN

I can confidently say that most Abians are not proud of the current state of affairs in God’s own state. It doesn’t matter what political parties they belong, the overriding opinion is that Abia is lagging behind.

But truthfully, a lot are still overwhelmed by the emotional propaganda being bandied around by those who are actually taking advantage of them.

You can imagine that in the 21st Century and beyond people who are holding power are still trying very hard to reduce election discuss to the office of a governor to political party, zone and other ephemerals.

They don’t want people to ask questions about Monthly Allocations, Bailout Funds, Paris Club Refund, 13 Percent Oil Derivations, the Internally Generated Revenues, Vision, Master Plan and other Special Findings. They don’t want people to talk about failed infrastructures in the state, bad roads, youth unemployment, crime rate, hospitals, schools, industries, teachers’ welfare, workers salaries,  productivity, Foreign Direct Investment, peace, progress and harmony.

They are yet talking about political parties and zones even when they are only but vehicles from which anybody can seek to offer service to the people who are looking for development and not for cheap political propaganda.

Especially, they are feeling very uneasy with the resurgence of Dr Uche Ogah.

Tell anyone you know who is talking about political party to: “Hapu Uhe Edere Na Motor Baa Na Motor!”

There is no need to give too much attention to those who want to dwell in the political party of a thing. They don’t like it when you take the discuss to a higher level.

They always want to drag you down or dictate the tone of discuss; they will always want to take you to the nomenclatures of political parties, tenure, zoning and other ephemerals.

Don’t insult anybody, keep responding with facts.

When they ask you: Dr Uche Ogah is rich, what is he looking for in government? Tell them he is driven by his love for the people and the need to bring his requisite capacity and skills to bear on the governance of Abia State. And that he is interested in corporate success and not about how rich he is.

When they tell you that he is good only for the private sector, let them know it is the same principles that governs both the private and the public sector. They are together.

To this end, if anyone is not a good manager of men and resources like Dr Uche Ogah they don’t have the capacity to bring about the needed transformation in Abia State.

This is why only those who truly love Abia State and want her progress are in support of Dr Uche Ogah. Those who are driven by other interests are opposed to him.

Dr Uche Ogah is obviously the man to beat!
