The Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria (ACCPN) has concluded all arrangements to organize the first Protocol Roundtable in 2025 with the theme: “The Role of the Chief of Protocol (MFA) and the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) in Nigeria on Saturday 22 February 2025 by 7pm.
According to a press statement made available to newsmen by the association’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Amb. Oladunni said the Protocol Roundtable is an initiative from the association president, Hon . President, Micheal Ikinbor and the entire executive committee.
Guest Speaker, who will be unravelling progression ideas at the Roundtable is a seasoned diplomat, Ambassador Ben Okoyen former Nigerian Ambassador To Cuba and Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Convener and the Chief Host, Michael Ikinbor, who is also the President of ACCPN, hinted that, the essence of the roundtable is to enhance the significant role protocol plays in corporate professionalism and how it can influence the structure of governance in every nation.
Micheal Ikinbor who also heads a prominent directorate with Century Group says, protocol has become a way of life if well utilized.
A member of the executive committee, and director of Learning and development, ACPPN, Julius Nyananyo, will be the moderator in the forthcoming 2025 protocol Roundtable.
Ikinbor said that protocol practice, all over the world, has gone beyond how it is being practiced here in Nigeria, hence the resolve of ACCPN to educate and inform Nigerians about the best practices in protocol.
