ACP Adeoye Holds Stakeholders Meeting On Security In Alimosho

The Area Commander, Area M Command, Idimu, Lagos, ACP Oluwagbemiga Adeoye, has summoned a stakeholders meeting on security to work in synergy with members of the public in order to continue to protect lives and property in Alimosho Local Government of the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the meeting was held at the Area M Command, Idimu conference hall and was well attended by critical stakeholders in Alimosho Local Government Area under the Command.
Those who attended the meeting included the Divisional Police Officers of the Area Command, traditional rulers that cut across all the ethnic groups, businessmen, artisans, captains of industry, market men and women among others.
The Area Commander, ACP Adeoye, stated that the essence of the meeting was to get the critical stakeholders involved in the security arrangement of the Command and solicit for the support of all the stakeholders to ensure that the people living within the Command are protected and secured.
Adeoye warned that he will not spare any person or group that commits crime in the area and would not tolerate any persons coming to beg for suspects when arrested because he will surely prosecute any suspect arrested by the Police.
He reminded the traditional rulers and the landlords that they have important roles to play on security in the area by providing vital information that will assist the Police to fish out the criminals within the Command.
He also warned that the Command will not tolerate any form of cultism, drugs dealing and other criminal activities within the Command’s coverage because the Police will fish out those criminals  wherever they hide and prosecute them.
Adeoye mentioned a particular notorious black spot at Gowon Estate for drug dealing and other related crimes and stated that the Police will deal with the situation and promised to create a special squad that will work to get rid of criminals within the Area Command.
He solicited the support of the stakeholders to work cordially with the DPOs and the Area M Command in order to ensure that crimes are reduced to the barest minimal level.
Some of the stakeholders, who attended the event, commended the Area Commander for summoning the meeting because it was the right thing to do.
The Chairman of Council of Ndieze, Lagos State,  Eze Chika Nwokedi, commended the Area Commander,  ACP Adeoye, for carrying the stakeholders along because the Police need the support of everyone to secure the area.
He promised to work and assist the Police in order to ensure that lives and property are secured while urging other stakeholders to join hands and assist the Area Commander in the area of protection of lives and property in the Area.
