Chief Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu, Chairman of Premier Lotto, popularly known as Baba Ijebu, has put smiles on the Awaiting Trial Prison inmates of the Medium Security Prison, Kirikiri, Lagos by donating full-air conditioned Civilian bus to the Nigerian Prison Service.
The new Asoju Oba of Lagos, Adebutu did not only donate the bus to the inmates, he also donated a big giant Mikano Generator worth millions of naira.
The bus was sighted at the various Lagos courts carrying the inmates with the air condition on.
An inscription, boldly written on both side of the bus, was the name of the donor, Adebutu.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Adebutu have also assisted other people who are in need, including his staff and workers in the past, as such these gestures to the inmates did not surprise some people who knew him.
The gesture coincided with the recent celebration of Adebutu’s 80th birthday and confinement of new title of Asoju Oba, which literally mean representative of the King, by the Oba of Lagos.
Some of the suspects expressed their delight on the new bus and specifically the generator which they said has helped improve the electricity within the prison.
However, the suspects wished they will be freed from facing trial and return to their various homes.
