PRINCE ADEREMI AJIBOLA

*”The life given to us by nature is short, but the memory of a life well spent is eternal.”* – Marcus Tulious Cicero, The Roman Statesman and orator (106-43 BC).

We are extremely saddened and heartbroken by the demise of Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson. Her death has hurt us and hurt us deeply. Everyone, Princes and Plebeians, is helpless against the blow of fate. It doesn’t rain, but it pours!!!

Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, was highly a coveted, esteemed and dedicated member of APC in Lagos State, as attributed to her progressive political ideological stance and developmental principle that she diligently nurtured and meritoriously brought to bear several times very resoundingly and powerfully too, in all the important positions she held while alive.

Though, death is inevitable end for every mortal, and it will come when it will come, according to the immortal words of William Shakespeare. And it as well remains a terminal point for every mortal, as no human can escape it when it finally comes.

However, and still, the solace therein despite how painful and sorrowful death is to mankind is derived from Norman Cousins quotation, that says: *”Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live.”*

In attestation to that symbolic quotation, we all thank Almighty God for a -life-well -spent by Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson on that undeniable apotheosis life of greater fulfilment and exceptional attainments of her. Because she lived a purposeful and wonderful life, and her contributions in this terrestrial divide are remarkably indelible and soundly apparent as unarguably based on the beautiful footprints she left behind in the imperishable sands of time and as impressively coupled with her iconic pedigree and effervescent antecedent that establishes this fact that: She came, she saw and she conquered, all to the glory of God, as they would generally say of great people, before she finally returned to her Maker.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

May Almighty God grant her family, her friends, her acquaintances and her political constituents uncommon fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Amen!
