ADVAN Gears Up For 9th Edition of ‘Marketing Excellence West Africa’ Awards Ceremony

All is set for the 9th edition of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria’s Awards for Marketing Excellence West Africa themed; ‘Business Value of Creativity’.

The award ceremony which was launched in 2011 is scheduled to hold on November 17, 2019 at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre Onikan, Lagos.

The ADVAN Awards is the most prestigious and respected award ceremony in the Nigerian marketing community.

It provides the opportunity for organizations and brands to gain competitive advantage by having their projects, initiatives, contributions, products, and services recognized.

The Awards provide the ultimate platform for improving brand awareness and loyalty, as the ADVAN Awards winners are acknowledged as industry leaders and named the elite in their industry.

Since its first edition eight years ago, ADVAN has continued to host the awards to reward the best in Marketing.

The awards ceremony has continued to evolve and with this year’s edition, the association has added a few extra activities to make the awards ceremony more exciting and all encompassing.

For the 2019 edition, ADVAN has added the ‘Consumer Choice Award’ where consumers will have the opportunity to vote for their most beloved brand.

This award was created to provide a platform where the brands’ efforts in earning the trust and loyalty of their consumers are crowned.

Also for the first time, entries into the ADVAN Awards will be evaluated by international evaluators.

The Association of Advertisers in Belgium will be supporting the local judges in appraising the entries so as to get a global perspective on the judging process.

The 9th edition of the Marketing Excellence West Africa Awards will see top influencers in the Marketing Communications space share their best insights on the theme of the awards ceremony; ‘Business Value of Creativity’.

Among the experts speaking at the event are; Raja Rajamann, Dr Kachi Onubogu, Jean Luc-Chetrith, Adenike Adebola, and Phil Smith.

Adding more verve  to this year’s awards ceremony, ADVAN member marketing teams will get to showcase their other talents and win the ‘Most Creative Team’ award.

This award will see the different marketing teams create a special showcase which will be presented at the awards dinner. The showcase will include a minute drama sketches, Acappella renditions, comedy, rap, choreography and many others.

Speaking on this year’s edition of the ADVAN Awards, the First Vice President, Advertising Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), Wasiu Abiola said; ‘This year’s edition of the ADVAN awards means a lot to us as an association.

Year in year out, we endeavour to look for new and exciting ways to celebrate the game changers in the Marketing Industry and we are proud to say that with the activities lined up for this year’s event, it will be our best awards ceremony yet.”

The ADVAN Awards is endorsed and supported by the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), an organization of national associations and global brands in over 65 countries of the world.

This year’s winners will be showcased throughout the member nations of the WFA.
