Afro Pop Music Artist, Twister Flex Set To Release Album

A 19-year old upcoming Afro pop music artist and dancer, Martin Ikechukwu Opara, popularly known as Twister Flex, has concluded plans to hit the market with his first album in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the album titled ‘Temperature’ was produced recently and set to be launched to the public and air waves even on the internet.

This was disclosed by Okpara who said it was part of the demands by his numerous fans who had seen him perform on stage perform and wanted it released in order to reach various homes because of its message for the youths in the society.
The young Okpara said that his music preaches love, hope, patience, hard work and encouragement for the youths to use their God given talents to achieve success despite the challenges as they are the future of the nation.
He noted that the society was undergoing transformation and difficulty as a result there are unemployment and hardship but said that will not deter the youths from working hard to create and make out something from their talents.
Twister Flex said that the album came up as a result of serious thoughts and hard work and was carefully arranged and produced with high level of creativity with a message targeted at the youths; encouraging them to use their talents for success and not moving round the streets claiming there were no jobs to do.
The young pop star said he was born and brought up in Lagos where he completed secondary education but hails from Akpo in Aguata Local Government area of Anambra from a lineage endowed with music and dance.
Twister Flex said that his grandfather and father were good singers and dancers and it was easy for him to adapt because he was endowed with those talents including his siblings. He also noted the challenges of young artists from lack of finance, exposure and assistance from people who were not willing to help young artists. However, he believes that he will continue to persevere, exploit and hoping that within the next five years he would have arrived and will be well known all over the world.

On his mentor, Okpara said that he respects and loves Davido’s works and regarded him as his mentor as they have similar entertainment background; noting that Davido’s family were known for dancing and singing just like his own family.

At the moment, he said that he was not under any record label but hope to get one in future both within and abroad.
Twister Flex said that despite his entry into the music, it did not stop him from furthering his education in Nigeria and abroad.
