Former Super Eagles players, Victor Agali and Henry Nwosu are among the invited guests who will grace the final of Lagos Private Secondary Schools Football Competition tagged Proprietor’s Cup scheduled to hold on 29 February at Caleb Sports Ground, Magodo,Ikosi-ketu,lagos.
The male final would be played between, Dansol High School, Ikeja against Caleb International College, while in the female category, Unique Heights High School battle Ronik Comprehensive School.
Chairman Organizing Committee, Prince Wale Atiba confirmed that five ex- international will grace the occasion. They are Etim Esin, Henry Nwosu, Victor Agali, Segun Fetuga and Jide Oguntuwase.
He explained that the organizers purposely invited the ex internationals so that the closing ceremony would be glamorous and a memorable one. He said the students will see the ex internationals and exchanged pleasantries with them.
‘Of course, all the invited guests have confirmed their readiness and we are happy that we will receive players that have played in FIFA World Cup in our midst. It is going to be full house because our invited guests will have one message or the other to pass across to the participating schools,” he said.
Atiba revealed that the competition was organized to promote football among private schools. He noted that the competition has lived up to expectations since inception.
